Hian vs. Apple

click I received an Interesting email from Apple stating “In order to reduce fraudulent activity on the App Store and comply with government requests to address illegal online gambling activity, we are no longer allowing gambling apps submitted by individual developers. This includes both real money gambling apps as well as apps that simulate a gambling experience. As a result, this app has been removed from the App Store. While you can no longer distribute gambling apps from this account, you may continue to submit and distribute other types of apps to the App Store.”
https://www.nnhopes.org/nnh-blog/onvmn3f My guess is tens of thousands of apps have been eliminated (think of the cost of building them).
click The title of my app is Omaha Tutorial/Poker Resorts. The bifurcated app is a poker tutorial PLUS travel stories about poker resorts. It is not a gambling app. It’s very curious that only “individual developers” are affected. I’ve followed up with emails and calls and just received notice that my case is receiving “escalated” service. Sounds promising.
